Blower-heated Regeneration Adsorption Dryer

Blower-heated regeneration: A dedicated blower draws ambient air through a heater and the off-line desiccant bed to remove adsorbed moisture.

Reduced compressed-air regeneration demand: Using heated blower air can substantially reduce the amount of dried compressed air used for regeneration compared with heatless adsorption drying; the exact cycle depends on system configuration.

Twin-tower continuous drying: One tower adsorbs moisture while the other regenerates and cools before switching back into service.

Thermal protection and PLC sequencing: Heater, blower, valves and temperature controls are coordinated to manage regeneration safely and consistently.

Application conditions matter: Required pressure dew point, inlet temperature, pressure, flow profile and ambient conditions should be confirmed during selection.

Blower-Heated Regeneration

A blower and electric heater provide heated ambient air for desiccant regeneration in the off-line tower. The drying and regeneration towers alternate to maintain compressed-air supply.

Confirm the heating, cooling and repressurization sequence for the selected configuration. Compressed-air use during these stages depends on the regeneration mode; blower-heated operation alone is not an unconditional zero-purge guarantee.

Catalog Operating Conditions

  • Working pressure: 0.6–1.0 MPa.
  • Inlet temperature: 0–45°C.
  • Listed pressure dew point: −20°C for the documented configuration.
  • Inlet oil content: less than 0.1 mg/m³.
  • Operating cycle: 2–8 hours.
  • Controller: PLC with a 4.3-inch color screen.

Confirm the Regeneration Mode

The catalog lists low-consumption / zero-consumption dual-mode operation and a dew-point instrument as options. Request the exact configuration and guaranteed compressed-air consumption for the complete cycle before ordering.

Compare heater and blower electricity together with any regeneration-air requirement. Ambient-air temperature and humidity should be included when checking regeneration performance.

Information for Selection

  • Required usable flow and compressor delivery.
  • Working pressure, inlet temperature and target pressure dew point.
  • Site ambient conditions, operating hours and available power supply.
  • Upstream oil and liquid-water separation, installation space and connection size.
