Source Capture for Welding Fume
The HY mobile series captures welding smoke close to the workstation using a flexible suction arm. Select the unit for the process, hood position and duct resistance rather than maximum fan airflow alone.

Maximum airflow and maximum pressure are separate fan ratings, not a guaranteed simultaneous operating point. Confirm the required extraction airflow at the actual system resistance.
Filter and Cleaning Requirements
- Published filter material: nano flame-retardant composite fibers; one cartridge per model.
- Catalog filtration range: 0.3–3.0 µm. This is not a guarantee of removal efficiency for every particle size or process.
- Published cleaning air requirement: 0.4–0.6 MPa, with oil-free and water-free compressed air.
- A spark interception stage and flame-retardant media do not make the unit suitable for every combustible or explosive dust. Confirm process compatibility before selection.
What to Send for Selection
Tell us the welding process, base metal and coatings, number of active workstations, required arm reach, operating hours, available voltage and compressed-air supply. For grinding, laser marking or mixed processes, include the material and dust characteristics so compatibility can be checked.
