SMF Compressed-Air Pipeline Filters
Remove particles, condensed liquid and oil aerosols from your compressed-air system with the appropriate C, T or A filter element. Choose from 10 housing sizes with catalog flow rates from 2.5 to 35 m³/min.
Send your air flow, working pressure, inlet temperature and required air quality so we can help select the housing and filtration grade.
Model Specifications
The SMF catalog lists 10 pipeline-filter sizes from 2.5 to 35 m³/min, with a maximum working pressure of 16 bar. Confirm the capacity rating at your actual pressure and temperature.

| Model | Catalog Flow (m³/min) | Connection | Maximum Pressure (bar) | Weight (kg) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| SMF-025 | 2.5 | G1 | 16 | 1.6 |
| SMF-035 | 3.5 | G1.5 | 16 | 3 |
| SMF-065 | 6.5 | G1.5 | 16 | 4 |
| SMF-085 | 8.5 | G1.5 | 16 | 4.5 |
| SMF-115 | 11.5 | G2 | 16 | 6 |
| SMF-135 | 13.5 | G2 | 16 | 6.5 |
| SMF-180 | 18 | G2.5 | 16 | 7.9 |
| SMF-200 | 20 | G2.5 | 16 | 11.8 |
| SMF-250 | 25 | G3 | 16 | 12.5 |
| SMF-350 | 35 | G3 | 16 | 15 |
Filtration Grades
| Grade | Listed Particle Rating | Listed Oil Content |
|---|---|---|
| C | 3 µm | 3 ppm |
| T | 1 µm | 1 ppm |
| A | 0.01 µm | 0.01 ppm |
These are catalog values. Specify the required outlet air-quality target and ask for the applicable test and rating conditions. A particle rating or oil-content figure alone does not establish suitability for every process.
Drainage and Monitoring
The catalog standard configuration includes a manual ball-valve drain. Differential-pressure indication and automatic drain valves are optional and should be specified separately.
Replacement Element Selection
Send the housing model, filtration grade and the code on the existing element. Confirm compatibility before ordering; connection size alone does not identify the correct replacement element.
Information for Selection
- Maximum air flow, working pressure and inlet temperature.
- Required particle and oil-removal target.
- Position in the air-treatment system and existing dryer or filter stages.
- Pipe connection, drain preference and replacement element code.
